Thank you to the organizers of the guide-instructor school for the chance to do what I love - roam through beautiful natural places with a backpack. It was wonderful to meet so many people who are all different but equally passionate about nature, and to watch how people change!

Thank you for a wonderful river rafting trip on the Shuya River and for the chance to experience the magic of Karelia's wilderness again, without a lot of hassle! The Teamhike team struck the perfect balance between the romance of the wild and the comforts of civilization!

Teamhike... A wonderful group of people, not just professionals but truly passionate people who are clearly right where they belong! They're a pleasure to be around, and that's before you even get to the comfort. Looking for a luxury-class hike? This is the place for you)!

Highlights in numbers :) We packed a lot into 15 days: countries visited - 5, cities seen - 7, steps walked - 259,236 (our record was 43,000 steps in Paris. We couldn't beat it this time :)), kilometers walked - 173.25 km, all across wonderful Christmas Europe with a close-knit team of 5 led by Sasha Cherekaev, the person who dreamed up this Christmas adventure. Kilometers traveled - a whole lot, too many to count :) And that's far from all)) Wine drunk - about 27 bottles; beer: at least 40 different kinds, liters - uncounted :) Mulled wine drunk - a must at every market (well, at least we tried it in every city). Types of transport used - 6 (planes, buses, intercity coaches (Europe has an amazing bus network between cities, and you can get pretty much anywhere from anywhere for a reasonable price), trams (they're different in every city), metro, elevators (we came across them here and there, and that was great)). Christmas markets visited: Belgium - about 5, Paris - 1 (there aren't many markets there, but in sunny weather, even without them, the city is a celebration), Strasbourg - officially around 10, but really just one (because the whole city is one big market and impossibly cute), Munich - I think 2 (but they were huge and stretched on forever; maybe they combine several into one this way? :)), Vienna - 5, Prague - I remember 3. Chestnuts eaten - lots and lots, other delicious things eaten - even more, photos taken - definitely around 10,000, because we wanted to take absolutely everything home with us)) Song learned - one, but the whole team learned it :)
