Hi everyone! I want to share a few highlights from my recent winter adventure on Lake Baikal. It’s an incredible feeling! The scale and beauty of this great lake, covered in ice, are breathtaking.

A huge thank-you to the team for organizing our winter trip to Lake Baikal! I’m so glad I got to be part of this winter adventure and start my 26th year surrounded by wonderful people and Lake Baikal’s extraordinary nature.

Lake Baikal was magical, mesmerizing, and beautiful. Every day was different. We spent two nights sleeping right on the ice and three nights on land, on the shore of shamanic Olkhon Island.

It all started with a dream. A dream of seeing the purest ice on Lake Baikal, touching a sacred place in Siberia, feeling the power of the Lake, and taking in its beauty. You can never forget your first time stepping onto the shore of Lake Baikal. It must be like stepping into outer space for the first time!

I was lucky enough to visit Lake Baikal in winter and share a tent with Sasha. When you live side by side with someone, you inevitably see the real person behind the public image. Charismatic on a computer screen, he turned out to be remarkably thoughtful and pleasant to talk to.
