Lake Baikal tour, March 2024. I loved the trip. You could write endlessly about the beauty of Lake Baikal in winter. I want to highlight how well the tour was organized. Transport, meals, and quick responses to unexpected situations, such as cracks in the ice, were all handled with care and attention to safety. Everything was smooth and reliable. We felt looked after. The lodge where we stayed was new, with clean, cozy private cabins equipped with a shower, bathroom, and kitchen. The house was lovely and warm, and we could adjust the radiators. The food at local cafes and restaurants was always fresh and delicious. Many thanks to Alexander for this wonderful journey to the heart of Lake Baikal.

I wholeheartedly recommend the crew! We went to Lake Baikal in late February 2024. Lake Baikal is an incredible, vast, extraordinary place and a true source of strength. But you could miss all of that without good organization. Service in the area still leaves a lot to be desired, there are so many factors to consider, and any small oversight can become a real problem, especially with the weather and everything else. The crew organized everything beautifully. They handled any unexpected changes right away, and the itinerary was packed. They’re just wonderful people to travel with: fun, friendly, and so interesting! Thank you so much. We’ll definitely travel with you again!

We traveled to Lake Baikal with the crew. One obvious plus: they had arranged everything so well that we never had to queue, whether for food, at viewpoints, or anywhere else. It’s really important that when something unexpected happens, the team stays calm, makes quick decisions, and skillfully turns things around for the guests. They’re truly great. I also noticed that safety comes first for them! And the biggest plus of all: we were accompanied everywhere by Lisa the Laika. Highly recommend!

We went to Lake Baikal with Teamhike! It was great! We took in the beautiful scenery, enjoyed delicious food, and tried lots of fun activities: ice skating, dog sledding, and drifting in buggies. Those who wanted to could relax in the banya and take a dip in the mighty lake, spend the night on the ice and listen to it crack at night, and enjoy the sunsets and sunrises. The Teamhike crew created a warm, friendly atmosphere. The small group made it easier to get around and meant more personal attention. The itinerary gave me enough time for everything, from activities to sleep. We didn’t have to worry about meals or finding souvenirs; the best places had already been picked for us! They met us at the airport and took us back, and everything ran smoothly. Many thanks to the Teamhike crew for a wonderful trip!

Early March 2024, wintertime Lake Baikal. The crew showed us all the beauty of the lake in winter. They did their best, and succeeded, in taking us to places when there were as few tourists as possible, including spots where there was hardly anyone at all. They arranged a night out on the ice so we could hear Lake Baikal’s voice. It was great talking with the crew. We loved it, really loved it. I’ll definitely travel with them again to Kamchatka, Sakhalin, and Altai. You won’t go hungry, and the food is delicious and varied.

A huge thank-you to Sasha’s crew for the unforgettable trips we’ve taken together! Uzbekistan, Kamchatka, Lake Baikal in winter! Absolutely amazing! We travel only with true professionals. I highly recommend joining the crew on a hike. They’re just fantastic! Sasha, thanks again for Lake Baikal. See you in Altai, and then maybe Mongolia, or Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands. We haven’t decided yet. We want to see it all as soon as possible with you as our guide and hear your stories along the way!

I was lucky enough to travel with Teamhike to Lake Baikal and Murmansk. Both trips will stay with me for a very long time. We saw the incredible winter scenery of Lake Baikal and visited so many interesting places. I even got to skate right on the lake. In Murmansk, we saw everything we’d hoped to see, and more, from the Northern Lights to whales just 10 meters away. I highly recommend this company to anyone who loves to travel. Sasha is a true professional. Thank you so much for two amazing vacations! I hope we’ll go on many more trips together.

I’ve traveled with Teamhike three times: to Lake Baikal, Kamchatka, and Mongolia. These tours are for people who don’t want to lounge on the beach and prefer an active vacation. I especially loved Mongolia’s stunning scenery, vast open spaces, and fascinating culture.
